My take
Spreadsheet gives you the best of both worlds: the flexibility and familiarity of a spreadsheet, with data that stays live because it comes from Odoo. That kills the biggest weakness of the exported spreadsheet, going stale instantly, and saves the endless rebuild cycle. For anyone who lives in spreadsheets, it is a genuine upgrade.
